Allied Health II
Instructor: Mrs. Little

Allied Health / Health Science at a glance...

The first year of the secondary Health Science program introduces the student to careers available in the health field, basic anatomy and physiology, and basic patient care skills.  Students who complete Health Science I may count one of the credits earned in this course as one science credit toward graduation requirements.

The emphasis of the second year is primarily to expose students to advanced skills in various health  occupations and  basic health care sciences. Students will participate in shadowing experiences in selected health care facilities. Upon completion of the second year advanced course, the student will be trained to work as an entry-level assistant in various health occupations and will be certified in CPR at the health care provider level.   For more information, contact Mrs. Little at 601-924-0247 or at llittle@clinton.k12.ms.us
